Intermedijsko umetniško delo 𝒔𝒚𝒔_6𝒙3_𝑪𝑨𝑻 Oskarja Kandareja sestoji iz rudimentarnih senzorjev gibanja, mehaničnih komponent ter kabelske konfiguracije. Je avtonomni kinetični sistem, ki deluje kakor primitivno enocelično bitje v svoji najzgodnejši razvojni fazi. V pomanjkanju kompleksnih čutnih zaznav se odziva zgolj na svojo najbližjo okolico. Njegovo gibanje je negotovo, počasno in brez pravega namena – obstaja zgolj zato, da biva.
Delo raziskuje mejo med živim in neživim, med evolucijo in stagnacijo, ter v sklopu duo razstave, v kateri umetniška projekta Oskarja Kandareta in Lare Žagar soustvarjata skupni prostor spekulativnega mišljenja, odpira vprašanja o pomenu golega, brezsmotrnega obstoja ter možnosti avtonomije tovrstnega bivanja.

Oskar Kandare’s intermedia artwork 𝒔𝒚𝒔_6𝒙3_𝑪𝑨𝑻 consists of rudimentary motion sensors, mechanical components, and cable configurations. It is an autonomous kinetic system that functions like a primitive single-celled organism in its earliest stage of development. Lacking complex sensory perceptions, it responds only to its immediate surroundings. Its movement is uncertain, slow, and without real purpose—it exists only to exist.
The work explores the boundary between the living and the non-living, between evolution and stagnation, and within the duo exhibition, where artistic projects of Oskar Kandare and Lara Žagar co-create a shared space of speculative thought, raises questions about the meaning of bare, purposeless existence and the possibility of autonomy in such mode of being.

𝟒𝟔.𝟑𝟓𝟑𝟐𝟏𝟖𝟐, 𝟏𝟓.𝟏𝟐𝟑𝟏𝟐𝟐𝟔 je fikcionaliziran raziskovalni projekt, čigar predmet je kopičenje vodnega kamna – spojine kalcita, magnezita in drugih mineralov. Instalacija sestoji iz dveh steklenih grelnikov ter posod, ki vanje vnašajo vodo in mineralno raztopino. Grelniki kot mesto nastanka te nedragocene “kamnine” so odprti človeškemu pogledu, z njim pa spekulativnemu vzgibu, ki v materialu išče izkupiček – bodisi kot maksimalizacijo vrednosti ali vsaj količine/velikosti. Navidezna znanstvenost instalacije je tako vnaprej načeta: kemični proces odpira ezoterični in mehanični kontaminaciji. Se “tujek” v sistem prikrade z razstapljanjem ogljikovega dioksida v vodi? Ali ko segrevanje privede do nastanka oborine? Je tujek že pogled sam? Ali je tujek namera, ki se vpisuje preko za znanstveno okolje neobičajnih mahagonijevih podstavkov in vanje vrezljanih motivov?
Projekt se predstavlja kot znanilec kemične ezoterike, spekulativne discipline, ki skuša razkriti človekovo nehoteno geološko dejavnost. Projekt je del duo razstave Oskarja Kandareja in Lare Žagar, v sklopu katere se materialnost kaže kot skupni prostor spekulativnega mišljenja in preizpraševanja spoznavnih postopkov.

𝟒𝟔.𝟑𝟓𝟑𝟐𝟏𝟖𝟐, 𝟏𝟓.𝟏𝟐𝟑𝟏𝟐𝟐𝟔 is a fictional research project focusing on the accumulation of limescale — a compound of calcite, magnesite, and other minerals. The installation consists of two glass heaters and containers that supply them with water and mineral solution. The heaters, as sites where the non-precious “rock” is generated, are open to human view and thus to speculative impulses that seek some form of gain or yield in the material – either by maximising its value or its quantity/size. The apparent scientific character of the installation is thus compromised from the outset as the chemical process is opened to esoteric and mechanical contamination. Does the “foreign element” infiltrate the system through the dissolution of carbon dioxide in water? When heating leads to the formation of the precipitate? Or is the foreign element the gaze itself? Perhaps the intention inscribed through unusual mahogany pedestals and their carved motifs?
The project presents itself as a herald of chemical esotericism, a speculative discipline that seeks to reveal humanity’s inadvertent geological activity. The project is part of a duo exhibition by Oskar Kandare and Lara Žagar, within which materiality appears as a shared space for speculative thought and the questioning of epistemic procedures.

Céline pričakuje svojo prvorojenko, a ni ona ta, ki je noseča. Čez tri mesece bo njena žena Nadia rodila njuno hčerko. Scenaristka in režiserka Alice Douard se v svojem prvencu osredotoča na izkušnje queer oseb po legalizaciji istospolnih porok v Franciji. Tako se v letu 2014 sveže poročeni pariški par, Céline in Nadia Steyer, spopada z zapletenim postopkom oploditve in vitro, ko ta še ni bil zakonito dostopen za lezbične pare v Franciji, in z birokratskimi zahtevami za enostransko posvojitev.

O režiserki
Alice Douard je študirala režijo na La Fémis. Njen diplomski film Extrasystole je bil sprejet na številne festivale. Zatem je režirala še kratka filma Les Filles in Plein Ouest, obenem pa je delovala tudi kot nadzornica scenarija. Leta 2022 je skupaj z Marie Boitard soustanovila produkcijsko hišo Les Films de June in režirala film L’attente, ki je leta 2024 prejel nagrado César za najboljši kratki igrani film. Istega leta je režirala in koproducirala svoj prvi celovečerni film, Love Letters.
Po projekciji bo potekal pogovor Posvojitev in queer družine z Majo Šorli in dr. Darjo Zaviršek, s katerima se bo pogovarjala članica ekipe FGLF Polona Černič.
Projekcija bo potekala v sklopu Festivala LGBT filma.
