SwinGradec 2025 – butični swing festival

SwinGradec je živopisno društvo plesnih navdušencev, ki vam že sedmo leto streže z butičnim swing festivalom v srcu Koroške, kjer v očarljivem atriju dvorca Rotenturn in tudi v središču mesta Slovenj Gradec z zanosom plešemo, gojimo kulturo miru, povezovanja in sodelovanja. Sedmi SwinGradec je odrasel festival, ki ponuja vse, kar imajo veliki, poleg tega pa še neubranljivi šarm majhnih. Pri nas se boste počutili bolje kot doma. Povabili smo učitelje svetovnega dometa, glasbene zasedbe, ki razturajo, ugodimo pa tudi marsikateri kaprici obiskovalk in obiskovalcev od blizu in daleč.

PETEK 29. 8. – SPOZNAVNI VEČER

PRIVAT PARTY Z BEND OVER – za swing plesalke & plesalce

Plesni večer z glasbo v živo – na kmetija Lešnik, Golavabuka 24, 2383 Šmartno pri Slovenj Gradcu

Dobrodošlica v objemu koroške narave, kjer se dobimo ob sončnem zahodu pri 400 let stari lipi na kmetiji Lešnik. Plešemo pod romantičnim kozolcem in spimo v domačnih apartmajih, za največje vagabunde pa je na voljo senik s pogledom na Pečkovo Uršljo goro. Glasbena skupina, ki bo z nami: fenomenalna za začetek. Bonus: BYOB.

SOBOTA 30. 8. – PLESNE DELAVNICE IN VELIKI FINALE V ATRIJU DVORCA ROTENTURN

DOPOLDANSKE PLESNE DELAVNICE
Razdeljeni v dve skupini in v dve dvorani si želimo zbildati plesne korake po poletnem sončenju. Ker so intenzivke še kako dobrodošle v teh poletnih mesecih, smo tudi mi primorani ugoditi gostom z učitelji, ki nas bojo navdušili in odprli nova plesna obzorja.

LINDY ROOM – KOSILO Z BEND OVER & DOMAČIM PRESENEČENJEM
Brez lenarjenja, druženja in plesa v mestu pač ne gre. Najboljša pica tekne ob hladnem pivu in ambientalnem koncertu v samem srcu mesta. Tam zdaj blesti bistro ITALIANlab, ki ponuja vrhunsko italijansko kulinariko. Ustvarili bomo popoldne kot ga pri nas še ni bilo.

BLUES TASTER
Prijetno utrujeni, morda celo lahkotno okajeni v stilu bluzerskih beznic se na plesni način učimo objemat. Nekaj kar ponujamo prav vsem in da očara prav vse.

GRAND FINALE – PLESNI VEČER S SWINGWAGON
V soju pritajenih luči se v elegantnem atriju dvorca Rotenturn do zadnjega daha razplešemo v ekstravagantni toaleti.

AFTER PARTY
Ponoči volkovi oživijo, prinesite svoje frulice, pokrovke in ropotulj’ce, kajti pravi jam se šele prične!

NEDELJA 31. 8. – PLESNO-ŠPORTNO PREBUJANJE

AKTIVNOSTI PO ZAJTRKU
Ker vemo, kako pomembna je gibljivost za plesalce, bomo na frišni travi pozdravili sonce, pogumnejši se po zajtrku lahko spustijo po downhill-u na Kopah, za tiste, ki se niso naplesali, priporočamo izlet s kolesi po Štrekni ali pohod na Kremžarjev vrh, za mačke in tigre pa je na voljo bogat chill out vrt, kjer lenobno čakajo športnike. Če bo še kaj vmes, se pa pustite presenetit. Ampak pazi to in ne pozabi, ideja je še vedno tudi zaplesati.

FRIDAY, August 29 – WELCOME EVENING

PRIVATE PARTY with BEND OVER – for swing dancers
Dance evening with live music at Lešnik Farm, Golavabuka 24, 2383 Šmartno pri Slovenj Gradcu
A warm welcome in the embrace of Carinthian nature: we’ll meet at sunset beneath a 400-year-old linden tree at Lešnik Farm. We’ll dance under a romantic hayrack and sleep in cosy country apartments; for the most adventurous, there’s even a hayloft with a view of Mount Uršlja. The band playing with us? Simply phenomenal to kick things off. Bonus: BYOB.

SATURDAY, August 30 – DANCE WORKSHOPS & GRAND FINALE in the Courtyard of Rotenturn Castle

AFTER MORNING DANCE WORKSHOPS
Split into two groups and two halls, we’re ready to rebuild our dance steps after basking in the summer sun. Summer intensives are a must, and so we’ve brought in inspiring teachers who’ll open new horizons on the dance floor.

LINDY ROOM – Lunch with Bend Over & a Local Surprise
Lounging, mingling, and dancing in the town centre is a must. The best pizza hits different with a cold beer and a live acoustic concert in the heart of the city. The newly opened bistro ITALIANlab shines here with top-notch Italian cuisine. We’ll create an afternoon like no other.

BLUES TASTER
Pleasantly tired, perhaps even lightly buzzed in the spirit of smoky, gritty blues joints, we’ll learn how to embrace through dance. It’s an offering for everyone—and it wins them all over.

GRAND FINALE – Dance Night with Swingwagon
Under the soft glow of ambient lights in the elegant courtyard of Rotenturn Castle, we’ll dance to our last breath in extravagant attire.

AFTER PARTY
When night falls, the wolves awaken—bring your whistles, pots, and rattles, because the real jam is just getting started!

SUNDAY, August 31 – DANCE & SPORTS AWAKENING

Activities After Breakfast
We know how important flexibility is for dancers—so we’ll greet the sun on fresh grass. The bold can try downhill biking at Kope, those still eager to dance can cycle along the “Štrekna” trail or hike up to Kremžar Peak, and for the laid-back cats and tigers, there’s a chill-out garden waiting while others go get sweaty. And if something unexpected pops up—just go with it.
BUT REMEMBER AND HAVE IN MIND: there’s always room for one more dance.
