🥳Celica špila, pleše, miga, gruva in muva tudi v letu 2025! Že četrto leto zapored bomo spremenili naš letni vrt v epicenter glasbenega dogajanja v Ljubljani. Vsak četrtek v juliju in avgustu bomo spet imeli hude bende, še bolj hud vajb in še več tiste magičnosti, ki se zgodi samo na našem letnem vrtu.🥳
Za zaključek letošnjega glasbenega poletja smo povabili makedonsko kantavtorico popa in soula ter producentko Dino Jashari in njene Drugare, za ogrevanje občinstva pa bo poskrbela tržiška reperka Sake.
🫶Dina Jashari je kantavtorica in producentka iz Makedonije, pionirska umetnica, ki počasi, a vztrajno osvaja srca občinstva na Balkanu. Dina v svoje pesmi preliva vso svojo bit in izkušnje ter se brez težav giblje med popom in novim soulom. V njeni glasbi izstopajo sanjave harmonije, čustvena besedila ter sodobni in sveži ritmi. Prejemnica pomembne nagrade Milan Mladenović (leta 2022) je bila deležna pohval številnih priznanih glasbenih ustvarjalcev iz regije.
Dina Jashari je izdala šest singlov in EP z naslovom Doma; pri skladbi Ubav Den je sodelovala z uveljavljenim ustvarjalcem glasb sveta (world music) in skladateljem Duketom Bojadžievim. Dina se ustvarjalno napaja v prostoru avtentične igrivosti, svoje skladateljske in izvedbene veščine pa izpopolnjuje s študijem jazza na Fakulteti za glasbo v Skopju. K njenemu zvočnemu izrazu kot soproducent prispeva Dragi Ivanov, diplomant ene najbolj uglednih glasbenih šol na svetu Berklee College of Music. Trenutno delata na novem materialu s ciljem povezovanja z umetniki iz sosednjih držav.
Dina Jashari nastopa s svojo celotno zasedbo Drugari (Dina Jashari – vokal, Luka Toshev – kitara, Andrea Mircheska – bas, Dragan Teodosiev – bobni, Stefan Aleksovski – sintetizator), pa tudi z zasedbo elektronskega tria z bobnarjem in kitaristom.
👌Sara Ilić, vsestranska samouka umetnica iz Tržiča, stopi samozavestno na oder kot uglajena jezična Sake. Mehki biti jo ponesejo od Triglava pa do Vardarja. Na poti razpre kreativni krater, iztisne zračno vročico slikovitih idej in premlevanj o preteklosti, jo spretno ujame in preusmeri neposredno v muziko. (Radio Študent)

For the fourth year in a row, we’re turning our summer garden into the epicenter of live music in Ljubljana. Every Thursday in July and August, we’ll host amazing bands, an even better vibe, and that special kind of magic that only happens on our Summer Garden!🥳
We will say goodbye to this wonderful Summer filled with music in the best possible way: with Dina Jashari and her Drugari, a pop/neo-soul artist from Macedonia and with Sake, a young star on the Slovenian rap scene.
🫶Dina Jashari is a singer-songwriter and producer from Macedonia, a trailblazing artist slowly but surely winning hearts of Balkan audiences. Dina pours her entire being and experiences out into her songwriting, effortlessly flowing through pop and neo-soul. Dreamy harmonies, emotional lyrics, modern and fresh beats are the elements that stand out in her music. In 2022, Dina’s artistry was awarded with ’’Milan Mladenovic’’ award, gaining praises from renowned music minds from the region.
So far, Dina Jashari has released 6 singles, an EP ’’Doma’’ and a collaboration with an acclaimed world music artist and composer Duke Bojadziev titled ’’Ubav Den’’. Dina creates from a space of authentic playfulness, sourcing her writing and performance skills from jazz studies she is pursuing at the Faculty of Music in Skopje, Macedonia.
Dragi Ivanov, a Berklee College of Music graduate, contributes to Dina’s sonic canvases as her co-producer. They are currently working on new material – aiming at liaising with artists from neighbouring countries.
Dina Jashari performs with her full band – Drugari (Dina Jashari – vocals, Luka Toshev – guitar, Andrea Mircheska – bass, Dragan Teodosiev – drums, Stefan Aleksovski – synth), and also as an electronic trio with her drummer and guitar player.
👌Sara Ilić, a versatile, self-taught artist from Tržič, steps onto the stage with bold confidence as the eloquent and refined SAKE. Soft beats become a creative surface for her strong lyricism. Along the way, she opens up a creative crater and releases an air fever of vivid ideas and reflections on the past, skillfully capturing and channeling them directly into music. (Radio Študent)

🥳Celica špila, pleše, miga, gruva in muva tudi v letu 2025! Že četrto leto zapored bomo spremenili naš letni vrt v epicenter glasbenega dogajanja v Ljubljani. Vsak četrtek v juliju in avgustu bomo spet imeli hude bende, še bolj hud vajb in še več tiste magičnosti, ki se zgodi samo na našem letnem vrtu.🥳
Ta četrtek bomo raziskovali zvočne pokrajine fuzije future garagea in trip-hopa skrivnostnega dvojca Liamere, družbo pa jima bo delal elektronski temačnež Frankly.
😶🌫️Dvojec Liamere ne sledi ustaljenim glasbenim smernicam, ampak jih kroji po svoje. Malidah (Kaja Skrbinšek) in two round robins (Andi Koglot) s premišljeno fuzijo future garagea in trip-hopa ustvarjata razpoloženjske pokrajine, v katerih se obrisi mehkega popa srečujejo s surovimi urbanimi zvočnimi eskapadami. Mehki vokali, nalezljivi dvodobni ritmi in hitro zapomljive melodije … Duo Liamere ne igra na prvo žogo, temveč pusti, da se glasba ustali in se razlije v svojem lastnem tempu.
Pot dvojca se je začela leta 2015 s singlom Sabotage, ki je melanholični trip-hop poudaril s tršimi bobni, klavirskimi ostinati in čustvenim vokalom. Napovedal je izid istoimenskega albuma, na katerem sta glasbenika prepletla trip-hop, garage in dvodobni step v eklektično zvočno zmes, ki je zbudila pozornost tako poslušalcev kot glasbenih kritikov Vala 202 (Matjaž Ambrožič) in Radia Študent (Sara Korošec).
Dvojec je ob sodelovanju basista Aneja Kočevarja in tehnika Antonia Križniča nastopal po Sloveniji, Hrvaški in Veliki Britaniji.
Sledil je daljši premor in nato leta 2018 presenečenje – Manitoba, studijska verzija skladbe, ki je prej živela le na odru. Nekaj kasneje je luč sveta ugledal EP Provinces, z njim sta glasbenika obrnila hrbet elektronskim vzorcem in se podala v bolj atmosferične vode. Procesirane kitare, godalni aranžmaji in tesnobne teksture ter lirične narativne pokrajine so zaznamovali zrelostno prelomnico v njuni glasbi.
Oktobra 2023 je zasedba Liamere spet presenetila, tokrat s Settle Down, skladbo, ki je zavila v smer mešanice soulovske dediščine in sodobnega lo-fi pristopa. Udarni ritem, groovy basovske linije in vokalna interpretacija so ob spremljavi prepričljivega videa, ki je spojil londonsko urbano estetiko z generiranimi podobami UI, zabrisali meje med stvarnim in digitalnim. Skladba je bila jasen signal, da se dvojec Liamere vrača tudi na odre – tokrat z okrepljeno zasedbo.
Postavi so se pridružili Klemen Tehovnik – kitara, Anže Knez – bobni in Margarita Ulokina – klaviature in violina; Anej Kočevar ostaja basist. Novembra 2024 je izšla Prospects, noir skladba, kateri je altovski saksofon Primoža Fleischmana dodal še eno plast melanholije. Februarja letos je sledila še dream-pop balada Memory Gazer, ovita v nostalgične zvočne meglice in ponotranjena besedila – še en dokaz, da duo ne ponuja instantne glasbe, temveč premišljene, čutne aranžmaje, ki zahtevajo pozorno uho.
Z albumom Re- (tik pred izidom) glasbenika zasedbe Liamere ne utrjujeta le svojega mesta na alternativni elektronski sceni, temveč jo po svoje na novo opredeljujeta. Zvočna nostalgija, inovativna produkcija in nepričakovani zasuki – Liamere je spet tukaj in dela stvari po svoje.
😾Čeprav se žanrsko nerad opredeljuje, je Frankly najbolj doma v elektronskih trip-hop vodah s primesmi IDM-glasbe. Včasih preseneti s kakšnim veselim komadom, večinoma pa nas skuša zamoriti vsaj pol toliko, kot je zamorjen sam. Še najbolj nas bo razveselil z novostmi, pripravljenimi za objavo na nasledniku odličnega albuma Life Encoder, ki je napovedan za konec leta.

This Thursday, we’ll be exploring sonic landscapes with a fusion of future garage and trip-hop from the mysterious duo Liamere, joined by gloomy Frankly.
😶🌫️Liamere is a dynamic collaboration between vocalist & lyricist Malidah (Kaja Skrbinšek) and arranger & producer two round robins (Andi Koglot). United by a shared vision, they craft a distinctive fusion of contemporary electronic subgenres, blending future garage, ambient, and trip-hop with classical pop song structures. Their sound is an evocative mix of atmospheric trip-hop, dark garage, and alternative electronic textures, characterized by gritty urban arrangements, infectious 2-step rhythms, and velvety, smoky vocals.
Liamere made their mark with the release of “Sabotage” in 2015, a melancholic trip-hop-inspired track featuring raw, sampled drums, haunting piano, and emotionally charged vocals. This single set the foundation for their signature sound, earning praise from critics and audiences alike. A month later, they unveiled their self-titled debut album, a striking blend of trip-hop, garage, and 2-step influences that resonated with casual listeners and music critics, including RTV Slovenia and Radio Študent. The album’s release saw them performing across Slovenia, Croatia, and the UK, with bassist Anej Kočevar and technician Antonio Križnič becoming integral members of their live performances.
Following a prolonged hiatus in 2016, Liamere made an unexpected return in January 2018 with the single “Manitoba,” a track first introduced during their early live shows. This was swiftly followed by the release of the “Provinces” EP, a collection of six tracks that marked a sonic shift from their electronic 2-step roots. The EP embraced atmospheric textures, processed guitars, live strings, and immersive ambiences, while the lyricism evolved towards narrative-driven storytelling.
In October 2023, Liamere re-emerged with “Settle Down,” a bold departure from the ethereal tones of “Provinces.” Drawing inspiration from vintage soul and contemporary lo-fi aesthetics, the track fused punchy beats, groovy basslines, and soulful vocals with a modern twist. Accompanied by a visually striking music video, the release juxtaposed the vibrant cityscape of Barbican and Hackney in London with AI-generated imagery, blurring the lines between reality and artifice—mirroring the song’s themes of ambiguity and complexity in the digital age.
“Settle Down” marked the beginning of Liamere’s new era as a full live act. Reuniting with longtime collaborator Anej Kočevar (bass), they introduced new members Klemen Tehovnik (guitar), Anže Knez (drums), and Margarita Ulokina (synths/violin). Their live performances blended past favorites with unreleased material, teasing audiences with fresh sonic explorations. In November 2024, they unveiled “Prospects,” a noir-inspired track enriched by the brooding melodies of alto saxophonist Primož Fleischman. The single also served as the official announcement of their highly anticipated sophomore album, “Re-.”
Continuing their momentum, Liamere released their third single, “Memory Gazer,” in February 2025. A dream-pop ballad infused with hazy vintage soundscapes and introspective lyricism, the track further solidified their reputation for pushing sonic boundaries while maintaining an unmistakable emotional depth.
With their third release “Re- Liamere reaffirms their place in the alternative electronic scene, seamlessly blending nostalgia and innovation. As they return to the stage and studio, the duo continues to captivate listeners with their ever-evolving sound and immersive storytelling.
😾Although he’s reluctant to define himself by genre, Frankly feels most at home in the waters of electronic trip-hop, with touches of IDM. Occasionally, he surprises with a cheerful track, but most of the time, he wants us to join him in his gloom and doom. What will cheer us up the most, though, are the new tracks that will appear on the follow-up to his excellent album Life Encoder, set to be released at the end of the year.
