𝗞𝗮𝗸𝗼 𝘇𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗸?

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗸 je dolgoročni raziskovalni projekt, ki se posveča zvočni dimenziji spomina, vpisanega v abstraktne monumentalne spomenike nekdanje Jugoslavije. Namesto da bi jih obravnaval zgolj kot vizualne objekte, jih razume kot resonančna telesa – kot prostore, kjer se prepletajo material, zgodovina in okolje.

Spomeniki, posvečeni revoluciji in narodnoosvobodilnemu boju, so v času socialistične Jugoslavije igrali pomembno vlogo pri oblikovanju kolektivnega spomina. Bili so hkrati politični in simbolni ter del širšega mednarodnega umetniškega prostora. Njihovi pomeni danes niso več enoznačni. Kot opozarja dr. Beti Žerovc, so ti spomeniki skozi čas živeli več življenj: od ideoloških simbolov do zapuščenih struktur ali globalno prepoznanih skulptur, pogosto odrezanih od svojega prvotnega konteksta.

Medtem ko je bila vizualna podoba spomenikov v zadnjih letih temeljito raziskana, njihova zvočna razsežnost ostaja skoraj prezrta. Prav tu vstopa projekt z vprašanjem, kako spomenik deluje kot akustični prostor.

Mnogi spomeniki so zgrajeni iz betona in jekla in vsebujejo votle strukture, ki delujejo kot naravni resonatorji. V stiku z okoljem – vremenskimi pojavi, živimi bitji in oddaljenimi sledmi človeške prisotnosti – ustvarjajo specifične, lokacijsko pogojene zvočne pokrajine.

Projekt, ki ga je aprila leta 2021 začel producent László Juhász, se razvija kot kontinuiran proces terenskega snemanja, dokumentacije in umetniške interpretacije na območju nekdanje Jugoslavije.

Trenutna razstava združuje terenske posnetke, fotografijo, video in performans v celovito prostorsko izkušnjo, ki obiskovalca spodbuja k pozornemu poslušanju. V njenem središču je utelešena umetniška praksa: glasbenice nastopajo neposredno na spomenikih in raziskujejo njihove akustične značilnosti. Zvok instrumentov se prepleta z nepredvidljivimi vplivi okolja, pri čemer nastajajo posnetki, ki poudarjajo edinstvenost vsake posamezne lokacije.

Eden izmed ključnih primerov, predstavljenih na razstavi, bo tudi večkanalni avdiovizualni performans, zasnovan na posnetkih iz Spominskega parka Popina z violinistko Manjo Ristić in snemalcem Jernejem Babnikom (Srbija, julij 2024). Spomenik, ki ga je leta 1981 zasnoval Bogdan Bogdanović, je bil postavljen v spomin na boj trsteniškega odreda in čete kraljevaškega bataljona proti nemškim silam leta 1941. Kot pravi Manja Ristić: »Akustični čudež – krožna komora osrednjega dela Popine obravnava zvok na resnično izjemen način. Biti in igrati v njej ostaja za vedno zapisano v mojem telesu.«

Spomeniki, vključeni v projekt, so nastali med zgodnjimi petdesetimi in zgodnjimi osemdesetimi leti kot obeležja protifašističnega boja ter ideje bratstva in enotnosti. Danes obstajajo v napetosti med zgodovino, politično dediščino in sodobnimi interpretacijami.

Sounding Spomenik jih ne razume kot statične ostanke preteklosti, temveč kot aktivne prostorske in zvočne entitete. S poslušanjem jih umešča v širši čutni okvir, kjer se njihovi pomeni ne zaključijo, temveč nenehno preoblikujejo.

Razstava vabi k razmisleku o tem, kako preteklost spomenikov, posvečenih narodnoosvobodilnemu boju, še naprej odzvanja – ne le kot podoba, zgodovina in ideologija, temveč tudi kot akustični prostori.

Udeleženke_ci:

𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰́ je violinistka, zvočna umetnica, kuratorka in raziskovalka, ki deluje na področju elektroakustične glasbe, improvizacije in eksperimentalnih zvočnih praks. Študirala je na Glasbeni akademiji v Beogradu in na Kraljevem glasbenem kolidžu v Londonu. Njeno delo se osredotoča na interdisciplinarni zvok, vključno s terenskimi posnetki in radijsko umetnostjo. Prejela je več nagrad in je soustanovna članica Srednjeevropske mreže za zvočne ekologije. / manjaristic.blogspot.com

𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗮 je intermedijska umetnica, ki deluje na področju konceptualne, eksperimentalne in novomedijske umetnosti. Ustvarja instalacije, ki združujejo video, grafiko, svetlobo, fotografijo in animacijo ter raziskujejo vpliv družbenih procesov na posameznika. Magistrirala je na Akademiji za likovno umetnost v Zagrebu, kjer je za diplomsko delo prejela nagrado za najboljše delo. Svoja dela razstavlja mednarodno in je prejemnica več nagrad. V zadnjih letih sodeluje pri projektu Sounding Spomenik, kjer je predstavila AV live dela na Sonotopiji in v kulrurnem prizorišču Osmo/za (z Milano Zarić) ter v Galeriji Alkatraz. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗷 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗻𝗶𝗸 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘂𝗸 je snemalec, zvočni oblikovalec in producent, specializiran za dokumentiranje improvizirane, eksperimentalne in sodobne glasbe. Njegovo delo se osredotoča predvsem na terensko snemanje, akustiko prostora in zvočno postprodukcijo v neobičajnih okoljih, kjer zvok obravnava kot avtorski element in ne zgolj kot tehnični zapis. Je ustanovitelj zavoda Murmur in avtor založniških glasbenih projektov, kot so Spaces / Prostori in Zvočne sledi Slovenije. Od leta 2021 sodeluje pri mednarodnem projektu Sounding Spomenik kot snemalec, zvočni oblikovalec in tehnični producent večkanalnih del. Kot tonski mojster je sodeloval pri številnih domačih in mednarodnih izdajah ter pri filmskih, interdisciplinarnih projektih in zvočnih instalacijah. / murmur.si

𝗗𝗿. 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝗶 𝗭̌𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗰 je izredna profesorica na Oddelku za umetnostno zgodovino Filozofske fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani. Raziskovalno se osredotoča na področji vizualne umetnosti in umetnostnega sistema v zadnjem stoletju in pol, zlasti njuni vlogi v družbi. Je avtorica več knjig, med drugim When Attitudes Become the Norm: The Contemporary Curator and Institutional Art (2015, ponatis 2018) in sourednica nagrajenega kataloga Na robu: vizualna umetnost v Kraljevini Jugoslaviji (1929–1941) (2019). Je tudi sourednica in ena izmed avtoric knjige Shaping Revolutionary Memory: The Production of Monuments in Socialist Yugoslavia (2023).

𝗕𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹 od leta 1989 deluje kot oblikovalec in kulturni producent z bogatimi izkušnjami na področju grafičnega oblikovanja, razstav, scenografij in kulturnih projektov. Po študiju na Univerzi v Ljubljani in Mariboru je soustanovil več pomembnih kulturnih organizacij in deloval kot programski direktor Kulturnega centra Pekarna. Kot eden najbolj iskanih tehničnih producentov je realiziral številne razstave doma in v tujini, med drugim na Grafičnem bienalu Ljubljana, v Cukrarni, MGLC, MSUM, na Mednarodnem festivalu računalniških umetnosti (MKC Maribor), v Galeriji Obrat, v Salonu ZDSLU, v Kibli in v številnih drugih institucijah.

𝗠𝗮𝗴. 𝗔𝗻𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗿 je kuratorka, ki se ukvarja predvsem s feministično in angažirano sodobno umetnostjo. Diplomirala in magistrirala je na ALUO Univerze v Ljubljani, dodatno pa se je izobraževala v programu Svet umetnosti, šola za kustose in kritike sodobne umetnosti na SCCA–Ljubljana. (So)kurirala je številne razstave, ki obravnavajo vprašanja spola, identitete, telesnosti in družbenega angažmaja. Od leta 2018 je umetniška vodja Galerije Alkatraz (KUD Mreža), kjer aktivno podpira neodvisne in mlade umetniške prakse. Je članica uredništva spol.si in kolektiva Rdeče zore ter avtorica strokovnih besedil s področja sodobne umetnosti. 𝗧𝗲𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗸 𝗟𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗿 je interdisciplinarna ustvarjalka, ki deluje na presečišču umetnosti, tonske tehnike in snemanja kulturnih dogodkov. Najprej se je izobraževala kot zdravstvena delavka, nato pa študirala tekstilno tehnologijo na Fakulteti za strojništvo v Mariboru. Od leta 2014 je bila stalna sodelavka Radio Študent, kjer je razvila kompetence na področju tonske tehnike, terenskega snemanja ter montaže zvoka in videa. Vrsto let sodeluje z KUD Mreža, Kino Šiška in drugimi kot snemalka in montažerka koncertnih in umetniških dogodkov, kjer prispeva k dokumentaciji in arhiviranju neodvisne kulturne scene. Leta 2017 je režirala dokumentarni film Srčišče glasbe, intimno in dokumentaristično vizualno zgodbo o Improconu 2017 in širšem kontekstu improvizirane glasbe.

𝗟𝗮́𝘀𝘇𝗹𝗼́ 𝗝𝘂𝗵𝗮́𝘀𝘇 je samozaposleni novinar, kurator, producent in založnik, ustanovitelj založbe Inexhaustible Editions ter njenih podzaložb Edition FriForma in SonoLiminal. Njegovo delo raziskuje presečišča zvoka, prostora in arhitekture, s posebnim poudarkom na eksperimentalni glasbi, zvočni umetnosti in krajevni akustiki. Kot založnik in producent se osredotoča na projekte, ki presegajo komercialne okvire ter raziskujejo netipične, prostorsko in arhitekturno pogojene zvočne forme. Je sokurator in producent dolgoročnega mednarodnega raziskovalnega projekta Sounding Spomenik, ki se posveča dokumentiranju in interpretaciji zvočnih kvalitet brutalističnih spomenikov nekdanje Jugoslavije. / onrizom.org

𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀̌𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗰 je glasbena producentka in kuratorica z več kot 30-letnimi izkušnjami na področju sodobne, eksperimentalne zvočne in javne umetnosti. Je ustanoviteljica koncertnih ciklov FriForma in Sonotopija ter soustanoviteljica založb Edition FriForma in SonoLiminal, obenem pa sokuratorka in producentka mednarodnega raziskovalnega projekta Sounding Spomenik. Kot kuratorica in producentka je realizirala več kot 200 javnih umetniških intervencij v okviru programa Gesamtkunstwerk Metelkova ter več kot 60 umetniških rezidenc v Ateljeju Azil. Kot predsednica KUD Mreža in ustanoviteljica inštituta ON Rizom razvija programe na presečišču eksperimentalne glasbe, zvočnih raziskav in vizualnih umetnosti ter aktivno sodeluje v mednarodnih projektih in programih kulturno-umetnostne vzgoje. / kudmreza.org

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲?

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗸 is a long-term research project, dedicated to the sonic dimension of memory, inscribed in the abstract monumental memorials of the former Yugoslavia. Rather than treating them merely as visual objects, it understands them as resonant bodies — as spaces where material, history and environment intertwine.

The monuments dedicated to the revolution and the National Liberation Struggle played an important role in shaping collective memory in the era of socialist Yugoslavia. They were, simultaneously, political and symbolic, as well as part of a broader international artistic space. Nowadays, they are no longer ascribed unambiguous meanings. As Dr. Beti Žerovc points out, these monuments have lived many lives over time: from ideological symbols to abandoned structures or globally recognised sculptures, often severed from their original context. While the visual appearance of monuments has been thoroughly explored in recent years, their acoustic dimension remains largely overlooked. This is where the project comes in, wondering how a monument functions as an acoustic space.

Many monuments are built of concrete and steel, containing hollow structures that act as natural resonators. In contact with their environment — weather phenomena, living beings and distant traces of human presence — they create particular site-specific soundscapes.

The project, initiated in April 2021 by the producer László Juhász, is developing as an ongoing process of field recording, documentation and artistic interpretation across the territory of the former Yugoslavia.

The current exhibition combines field recordings, photography, video and performance into a comprehensive spatial experience that encourages visitors to listen attentively. At its core lies an embodied artistic practice: musicians perform directly on the monuments and explore their acoustic characteristics. The sound of the instruments intertwines with unpredictable environmental influences, resulting in recordings that highlight the uniqueness of each individual location.

One of the key examples presented in the exhibition shall be a multi-channel audiovisual performance based on recordings from the Popina Memorial Park featuring violinist Manja Ristić and sound engineer Jernej Babnik (Serbia, July 2024).

The monument, conceived by Bogdan Bogdanović in 1981, was erected in memory of the battle of the Trstenica detachment and the Kraljevac battalion against German forces in 1941. In Manja Ristić’s words: »An acoustic miracle—the circular chamber in the central part of Popina treats sound in a truly extraordinary way. Being there and performing in it remains forever inscribed in my body.«

The monuments included in the project were built between the early 1950s and early 1980s as memorials to the anti-fascist struggle and the ideals of brotherhood and unity. Today, they exist in a tension between history, political heritage and contemporary interpretations.

Sounding Spomenik does not perceive them as static remnants of the past, but rather as active spatial and sonic entities. Through listening, it places them within a broader sensory framework where their meanings do not come to an end, but are constantly being reshaped.

The exhibition invites reflection on how the past of monuments dedicated to the National Liberation Struggle continues to resonate — not solely as imagery, history and ideology, but also as acoustic spaces.

Participants:

𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰́ is a violinist, sound artist, curator and researcher working in the fields of electroacoustic music, improvisation and experimental sound practices. She studied at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and at the Royal College of Music in London. In her work, she focuses on interdisciplinary sound, including field recordings and radio art. 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗮 is an intermedia artist, working in the fields of conceptual, experimental and new media art. She creates installations that combine video, graphics, light, photography and animation, exploring the impact of social processes on the individual. She obtained her MA at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where she received an award for the best undergraduate thesis. She exhibits her work internationally. She received several awards for her work. In recent years, she has been participating in the Sounding Spomenik project, where she presented live AV works at Sonotopia and at the Osmo/za venue (with Milana Zarić), as well as at the Alkatraz Gallery. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗷 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗻𝗶𝗸 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘂𝗸 is a sound engineer, sound designer and producer, specialising in documenting improvised, experimental and contemporary music. In his work, he focuses primarily on field recording, spatial acoustics and sound post-production in unusual environments, where he treats sound as an artistic element, rather than merely a technical record. He is the founder of the Murmur Institute and the author of music publishing projects, such as Spaces and Sonic Traces of Slovenia. Since 2021, he has been collaborating on the international project Sounding Spomenik as a recording engineer, sound designer and technical producer of multichannel works. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝗶 𝗭̌𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗰 is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Her areas of research are visual art and the art system since the mid-nineteenth century, with a focus on their roles in society. She is the author of several books, including When Attitudes Become the Norm: The Contemporary Curator and Institutional Art (2015) and co-editor of On the Brink: The Visual Arts in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (1929–1941) (2019). She is also a co-editor and one of the authors of the book Shaping Revolutionary Memory: The Production of Monuments in Socialist Yugoslavia (2023; https://igorzabel.org/en/publications/Shaping-Revolutionary-Memory-2023).

𝗕𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹 has been working as a designer and cultural producer since 1989. He has extensive experience in graphic design, exhibitions, set design and cultural projects. After completing his studies at the University of Ljubljana and the University in Maribor, he co-founded several important cultural organizations and worked as programme director of the Pekarna Cultural Centre. As one of the most sought-after technical producers, he has realised numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, among others, at the Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts, in the Cukrarna Gallery, MGLC – International Centre of Graphic Arts, MSUM – Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova, the International Festival of Computer Arts (MKC Maribor), the Obrat Gallery, the ZDSLU Salon, Kibla and numerous other institutions.

𝗔𝗻𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗿, 𝗠𝗔, is a curator who focuses primarily on feminist and socially engaged contemporary art. She obtained her BA and MA at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana, and completed her further education in the World of Art programme, a school for curators and critics of contemporary art at SCCA — Centre for Contemporary Arts Ljubljana. She has (co-)curated numerous exhibitions addressing issues of gender, identity, corporeality and social engagement. Since 2018, she has been the artistic director of the Alkatraz Gallery (Arts and Culture Association – KUD Mreža), where she actively supports independent and emerging artistic practices. Moreover, she is a member of the editorial board of spol.si and the International Feminist and Queer Festival Red Dawns collective, as well as the author of scholarly texts in the field of contemporary art. 𝗧𝗲𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗸 𝗟𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗿 is an interdisciplinary artist, working at the intersection of art, sound engineering, and the recording of cultural events. She initially trained as a healthcare worker before studying textile technology at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Maribor. Since 2014, she has been a regular contributor to Radio Student, where she developed skills in sound engineering, field recording and sound and video editing. For many years, she has collaborated with Arts and Culture Association – KUD Mreža, Kino Šiška – Centre for Urban Culture and others as a videographer and editor of concerts and artistic events, contributing to the documentation and archiving of the independent cultural scene. In 2017, she directed the documentary film The Heart of Music, an intimate visual story about Improcon 2017 and the broader context of improvised music.

𝗟𝗮́𝘀𝘇𝗹𝗼́ 𝗝𝘂𝗵𝗮́𝘀𝘇 is a freelance journalist, curator, producer and publisher, the founder of the label Inexhaustible Editions and its sub-labels Edition FriForma and SonoLiminal. His work explores the intersections of sound, space and architecture, with a particular focus on experimental music, sound art and site-specific acoustics. As a publisher and producer, he focuses on projects that transcend commercial frameworks and explore atypical, spatially and architecturally conditioned sound forms. He is a co-curator and producer of the long-term international research project Sounding Spomenik, which is dedicated to documenting and interpreting the sonic qualities of Brutalist monuments in the former Yugoslavia. / onrizom.org

She is the founder of the FriForma and Sonotopia concert series and a co-founder of the Edition FriForma and SonoLiminal labels, as well as a co-curator and producer of the international research project Sounding Spomenik. As a curator and producer, she has realized over 200 public art interventions as part of the Gesamtkunstwerk Metelkova programme, and over 60 artist residencies at Studio Asylum. V novi instalaciji Latentni prostor Felicity Hammond ponudi spekulativen vpogled v bližnjo prihodnost, v kateri je računalniška infrastruktura v vesolju postala prevladujoča usmeritev industrije umetne inteligence. Vendar se sistem še naprej spopada z učinki kolapsa modelov – procesa, pri katerem se generativni modeli urijo na podatkih, ki so jih ustvarili prejšnji modeli umetne inteligence, kar povzroča izgubo podatkov, degradacijo in vse večjo odmaknjenost od izkušnje ter reprezentacije fenomenalnega sveta. V poskusu ponovne prilagoditve sistema so bili angažirani performerji, da bi ponovno uprizorili izvorne podatke. Podatkovni performerji vsrkavajo to slikovno gradivo in poskušajo ponovno zamišljati niz povprečnih podob, amalgam izvirnikov. Vgrajena nadzorna oprema te geste zajame v fotografski obliki in jih ponovno vnese v sistem. Ta proces ponovne prilagoditve se v tem pilotnem testu izvaja na spletnem slikovnem arhivu Aksiome, zbranem z zajemom gradiva s Flickrja.

In this newly commissioned installation titled Latent Space, Felicity Hammond offers a speculative glimpse into a not-too-distant future where this new approach to space-based computation has become the dominant position in the AI industry. However, the system continues to battle with the effects of model collapse – a process by which generative models are trained on data generated by previous AI models, causing data loss, degradation, and abstraction from the experience and representation of the phenomenal world. In an attempt to recalibrate the system, performers have been employed to restage original data. Data-performers absorb this image material and attempt to re-imagine a set of average images, an amalgam of the originals. On-board surveillance captures these gestures in photographic form and feeds them back into the system. This recalibration process is tested via the online image archive of Aksioma, scraped from Flickr for the purposes of this pilot test.

Čeprav je vsak nacionalni kontekst obravnaval različne zgodovinske in kulturne pogoje, so povezave tekstilnih krajin skupne in obravnavajo, kako tekstilne prakse prenašajo spomin, identiteto, trajnostne prakse in vrednote tako skozi dis/kontinuiteto kot trans/formacijo. The exhibition is the result of three research-art projects on the textile heritage of 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐞, 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚, as well as the digital archive [textileheritages.com/wiki].

Textile heritage appears in the exhibition as a living bearer of collective memory, shaped through social relations, local knowledge, and sensory experience. Although each national context addressed different historical and cultural conditions, the connections between textile landscapes are shared. The exhibition explores how textile practices transmit memory, identity, sustainable practices, and values through both dis/continuity and trans/formation.

In addition to 𝟐𝟔 𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 that will open up the worlds of 𝐏𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚, 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐬𝐤𝐚 to visitors, the project also develops a digital archive of local textile heritages, documenting creative processes and presenting results through a digital storytelling tool.

Razstava je plod treh raziskovalno-umetniških projektov tekstilne dediščine 𝐆𝐫𝐜̌𝐢𝐣𝐞, 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐣𝐬𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐣𝐞 in digitalni arhiv [textileheritages.com/wiki]

Tekstilna dediščina na razstavi nastopa kot živa nosilka kolektivnega spomina, oblikovanega skozi družbene odnose, lokalno znanje in senzorične izkušnje. Čeprav je vsak nacionalni kontekst obravnaval različne zgodovinske in kulturne pogoje, so povezave tekstilnih krajin skupne in obravnavajo, kako tekstilne prakse prenašajo spomin, identiteto, trajnostne prakse in vrednote tako skozi dis/kontinuiteto kot trans/formacijo. Poleg 𝟐𝟔 𝐭𝐞𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐧𝐢𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐯𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐳𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐧𝐢𝐡 𝐝𝐞𝐥, ki bodo obiskovalcem odprle svetove 𝐏𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐤𝐞, 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐬𝐤𝐞, projekt razvija tudi 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐧𝐢 𝐚𝐫𝐡𝐢𝐯 lokalnih tekstilnih dediščin, ki dokumentira ustvarjalne procese in predstavlja rezultate s pomočjo digitalnega pripovednega orodja.

The exhibition is the result of three research-art projects on the textile heritage of 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐞, 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚, as well as the digital archive [textileheritages.com/wiki].

Textile heritage appears in the exhibition as a living bearer of collective memory, shaped through social relations, local knowledge, and sensory experience. Although each national context addressed different historical and cultural conditions, the connections between textile landscapes are shared.
