🏐🐉📔Saj poznate zgodbo ene najslavnejših lutk, kajne? Dedek in babica posvojita Žogico Marogico, in ko je sama doma, jo z zvijačo odpelje Zmaj Tolovaj; rešita jo šele dedek in babica, ki s pomočjo otrok odpihneta hudobne zmaje. Dedek s svojo lajno, babica z bobnom in nagajiva Žogica Marogica vedno znova osvajajo mlado in staro občinstvo.
Če pridete vsaj trikrat, bo celo nagrada!🏆 Delavnice so brezplačne, a prosimo za predhodno prijave na 📌[email protected].
In ko se poletje izteče …
Vabljeni!

🏀Speckles Treckles is actually Speckles the Ball, also known as Žogica Marogica, the much-loved character that takes centre stage at this year’s 36th Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts. We’ve renamed her “Treckles” because she treks around the whole city – from one exhibition venue to another. So, what’s going on?
At MGLC Grad Tivoli, the workshops will look into diverse printmaking approaches (possibly even using our bodies and working in nature), taking Grandma and Grandad as our source of inspiration. At the City Art Gallery Ljubljana, we’ll travel into a dreamworld through the sounds of an art installation, make fortune-telling cards and chase Zmaj Tolovaj – or the Rascal Dragon, to you and me. At the Museum of Modern Art (MG+), where the original Speckles the Ball is actually on view, we’ll explore the world of puppets, try our hand at origami, design juggling balls, relax with embroidery and discover the hidden forest-dwellers in the trees of the Forest Guardian.
🏐🐉📔You do know the story of one of the most famous puppets around, don’t you? Granma and Grandad adopt Speckles the Ball, and when she’s home alone, the Rascal Dragon tricks her into coming with him. She is only saved by Granma and Grandad – with the help of children – who manage to blow the wicked dragons away. Grandad on his hurdy and gurdy, Grandma with her drum and the cheeky Speckles the Ball continue to charm audiences young and old.
😍We’d be delighted if you joined us in this spirit of creative inspiration. You’re welcome to come to as many workshops as you like – the more, the merrier! If you come at least three times, you’ll even receive a prize! Participation is free of charge, but please register in advance at [email protected].
And when summer draws to a close…
… we’ll gather for the final session of the Speckles Treckles in the City summer workshop on Thursday, 4 September, from 18.00 to 19.00, with a visit to the Museum of Puppetry at Ljubljana Castle – because that’s where Speckles the Ball is really at home!
A warm welcome!
