Po vstopu v tempelj Asentre, varuhinje sertralina, se razblini megla negotovosti in zmede. Stvari postanejo jasnejše, perfekcionizem se pokaže v pravi, destruktivni luči. Strah, da iz templja ni izhoda, se prelevi v vprašanje: »Zakaj pa ne bi kar ostal tu?« Da je za ustvarjanje potrebna beda, je samo izgovor za stalno vojno z lastnimi možgani. Dejstvo je, da ima anksioznost spomin zlate ribice. Mogoče je vse skupaj cenena iluzija, ampak mi je zaenkrat precej vseeno. Templjev je zadosti, vsak unikaten in individualen.
Slike, ki visijo v templju, so precej brezbrižne, vseeno pa neizprosne in ostre. Vsaka zase, ampak trdno povezane. Nastale so izključno v sobanah templja, zato tam tudi ostajajo. Krivda in žalost sta ključni sestavini, a sta vidni samo še v vzvratnem ogledalu. Imam vsaj 100 mg prednosti.

𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐠 je interdisciplinarni umetnik in glasbenik. Po zamenjavi študija dentalne medicine je leta 2013 pod mentorstvom Bojana Gorenca diplomiral iz slikarstva na ALUO. Leta 2015 se je preselil v Leipzig, kjer je ustvarjal v ateljeju v umetniškem kompleksu Spinnerei. Poleg slikarstva deluje tudi na področjih oblikovanja in ilustracije, kjer je kot ustvarjalec celostnih grafičnih podob albumov, plakatov in majic postal pomemben del podtalne alternativne glasbene scene tako doma kot v tujini. Velik del ustvarjanja posveča tudi glasbi, kjer je s svojim alter/noise/industrial projektom It’s Everyone Else od leta 2009 stalno prisoten na slovenski in tuji sceni, s številnimi nastopi in turnejami po celotnem evropskem prostoru in na večjih mednarodnih festivalih. Leta 2023 je s Piko Golob ustanovil studio Sleep Debris, ki je do zdaj izdal dve videoigri – Cranio in The Council.

After entering the temple of Asentra, guardian of sertraline, the fog of uncertainty and confusion dissipates. Things become clearer; perfectionism reveals itself in its true, destructive light. The fear that there is no way out of the temple transforms into the question: “Why wouldn’t I just stay here?” The idea that misery is necessary for creativity is merely an excuse for a constant war with one’s own brain. The fact is that anxiety has the memory of a goldfish. Maybe it’s all a cheap illusion, but for now I don’t really care. There are enough temples, each one unique and individual.
The images hanging in the temple are rather indifferent, yet merciless and sharp. Each stands on its own, but they are firmly connected. They were created exclusively within the chambers of the temple, and that is where they remain. Guilt and sorrow are key ingredients, but they are now visible only in the rear-view mirror. I have at least a 100 mg head start.

𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐠 is an interdisciplinary artist and musician. After switching from studying dental medicine, he graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in 2013 under the mentorship of Bojan Gorenec. In 2015 he moved to Leipzig, where he worked in a studio within the Spinnerei art complex. Alongside painting, he is also active in design and illustration, and his visual identities for albums, posters and T-shirts have made him an important part of the underground alternative music scene both in Slovenia and abroad. He also devotes a significant amount of his creative work to music: since 2009, his alter/noise/industrial project It’s Everyone Else has been a constant presence on the Slovenian and international scene, with numerous performances and tours across Europe and appearances at major international festivals. In 2023, together with Pika Golob, he founded the studio Sleep Debris, which has so far released two video games – Cranio and The Council.
