Maribor’s own rockabilly combo, Joe & Stacey with The Rhythm Boys, renowned for their authentic 1950s sound and style, will take the stage. Adding a special touch, Stacey will channel the spirit of June Carter, bringing to life the timeless duets that captured hearts worldwide.

V soboto, 21. februarja, ob 20:00 se bomo v Rokaju pod Starim mostom na nepozabnem večeru, poklonili enemu najvplivnejših in najbolj cenjenih glasbenikov preteklega stoletja – legendarnemu možu v črnem Johnnyju Cashu.

Leta je 1955 pod legendarno založbo Sun Records prodrl na glasbeno sceno v rojstnem kraju rokenrola MEMPHISU. Bil je prejemnik številnih prestižnih glasbenih nagrad od katerih zagotovo velja izpostaviti 13 Grammy-ev, nagrado za življenjsko delo leta 1999 in 9 Country Music Association Awards.

Na glasbeno popotovanje v preteklost vas bo popeljala mariborska rockabilly vokalno-instrumentalna zasedba Joe & Sacey with The Rhythm Boys, ki bo preigravala Johnnyjeve nepogrešljive klasike, kot so “Big River,” “Cry, Cry, Cry” in “Folsom Prison Blues”, “Ring of fire”…v čevlje June Carter pa bo stopila Stacey.
