SWAI je svež eklektični tehno projekt, ki sta ga ustvarila dva veterana slovenske elektronske glasbene scene in cenjena člana skupine Clockwork Voltage, Shekuza (Miha Šajina) in BeatMyth (Igor Vuk). Po letih skupnega garažnega snemanja in urah snemanja sta prijatelja dokončno ustvarila celovit album. Vendar to ni tipičen tehno album z mešanico DJ orodij. Gre za celovito umetniško delo s prefinjenimi tehnoidnimi skladbami, ki so lepo izdelane, a hkrati srhljivo srhljive. Kompleksne teksture in tesni bobnarski vzorci se prepletajo s poetičnimi prispevki njune prijateljice Ane Pepelnik, kar tri skladbe povzdigne v nov žanr: tehno poezijo. V Drevu, ki ga dopolnjuje osupljiva naslovnica Line Rice, se pojavi kot pravo umetniško delo.

SWAI is a fresh eclectic techno project created by two veterans of the Slovenian electronic music scene and respected members of Clockwork Voltage, Shekuza (Miha Šajina) and BeatMyth (Igor Vuk). After years of collaborative garage sessions and hours of recording, the two friends have finalised a cohesive album. But this is no typical techno album with a mesh of DJ tools. It is a comprehensive art piece featuring sophisticated technoid compositions that are beautifully crafted yet hauntingly eerie. Complex textures and tight drum patterns intertwine with the poetic contributions of their friend, Ana Pepelnik, elevating the three tracks into a new genre: techno poetry. Complemented by Lina Rica’s striking cover art, V Drevo emerges as a true work of art.
