Stefano Pilia je italijanski kitarist, producent in skladatelj, ki v svojem delu raziskuje zvočne strukture ter odnos zvoka do prostora, časa in spomina. Deluje na presečišču improvizacije, elektroakustične glasbe in avant-rocka ter je sodeloval ali bil soustanovitelj ključnih projektov, kot so Massimo Volume, Il sogno del marinaio, Afterhours in 3/4HadBeenEliminated. Sodeloval je z umetniki, kot so ZU, Mike Watt, Adrian Utley, David Tibet, Oren Ambarchi, John Parish, Phill Niblock, Rokia Traorè, Silvia Tarozzi in številnimi drugimi. Njegova obsežna diskografija (več kot 40 izdaj) je izšla pri uveljavljenih založbah, med njimi Die Schachtel, Maple Death in Black Truffle, koncertiral pa je po Evropi, ZDA, Avstraliji in Afriki.
V solo live setu bo predstavil adaptacije zadnjih del Spiralis Aurea in Lacinia, za električno kitaro in elektroniko. Pri izvedbi se poslužuje ustvarjalnih pristopov, ki izhajajo iz dolgoletnih instrumentalnih in elektroakustičnih raziskovanj, s čimer na novo umešča poetiko obeh del v širšo in bolj vizionarsko formalno razmerje: akustično dramaturgijo med logosom in kaosom.

Stefano Pilia predstavlja uvodni koncert v štiriletno programsko obdobje Zveze Mink Tolmin, ki ga pod imenom Sočne zGodbe podpira Ministrstvo za kulturo republike Slovenije.

Stefano Pilia is an Italian guitarist, producer and composer whose work explores sound as a physical presence and its relationship to space, time and memory. Moving between improvisation, electro-acoustic music and avant-rock, he has been involved in projects such as Massimo Volume, Il sogno del marinaio and 3/4HadBeenEliminated, and has collaborated with artists including ZU, Mike Watt, Adrian Utley, David Tibet, Oren Ambarchi, John Parish, Phill Niblock and Silvia Tarozzi. His extensive discography spans over forty releases, published by labels such as Die Schachtel, Maple Death and Black Truffle, and his work has been presented across Europe, the United States, Australia and Africa.
In a solo live set, he will present adaptations of his recent works Spiralis Aurea and Lacinia for electric guitar and electronics. Drawing on creative approaches rooted in years of instrumental and electroacoustic research, the performance repositions the poetics of both works within a broader and more visionary formal relationship: an acousmatic dramaturgy between logos and chaos.
