Skupinska razstava 𝑶𝒛̌𝒊𝒗𝒍𝒋𝒆𝒏𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒌𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆, 𝒔𝒌𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊 𝒕𝒐𝒌𝒐𝒗𝒊, na ogled v Galeriji Škuc od 7. 11. do 4. 12. 2025, izhaja iz eksperimentalne rezidence, ki se jo je kuratorka 𝐆𝐢𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐞 udeležila lani v Galeriji Škuc. Na osnovi takratnega preizpraševanja in premišljevanja umetnic_, kritičark_ in akademičark_ je nastala 02_2024, raziskovalna razstava s simpozijem in delavnicami. Letošnja jo nadgrajuje z odzivom na svet, v katerem protesti, četudi vse pogostejši, izgubljajo politični vpliv. Lahko umetnost to ohromelost zaustavi ter ohrani upanje in solidarnost? Izhajajoč iz pojma »skritih tokov« feminističnih teoretičark Verónice Gago in J. K. Gibson-Graham, osvetli prakse, ki sicer delujejo znotraj obstoječih struktur moči, a jih vseeno subtilno spodkopavajo. Umetnice_ 𝐇 𝐌 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 (Združeno kraljestvo), 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐳𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐧 (Palestina), 𝐃𝐍𝐋𝐌 (Slovenija), 𝐎𝐝𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 (Uganda), 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐝𝐚 (Italija) in 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐉𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐜́ (Slovenija) tematizirajo prekarnost, migracije, urbane politike, meje in pripadnosti, zamišljajo si bolj vključujočo stvarnost in udejanjajo majhne, a transformativne premike, s katerimi že zaznamujejo prihodnost.

𝑹𝒆𝒘𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔, 𝑯𝒊𝒅𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔, a group show on view at Škuc 𝐆𝐢𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐞 and December 2025, arose from curator Giulia Menegale’s participation in Škuc Gallery’s experimental “low-residency” programme in Ljubljana in 2024. This is where research and exchange with artists, critics and scholars shaped project 02_2024, a research exhibition with symposium and workshops that opened in the winter of that year. Extending this inquiry, the new exhibition responds to a world where protests multiply yet political impact wanes, asking how artistic gestures can sustain hope and solidarity without paralysis. Drawing on the concept of “hidden currents” from feminist thinkers Verónica Gago and J.K. Gibson-Graham, the show highlights practices that operate within power structures while subtly subverting them. Featuring works that engage with precarity, migration, urban policies, borders and belonging, the artists, 𝐇 𝐌 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 (UK), 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐳𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐧 (Palestine), 𝐃𝐍𝐋𝐌 (Slovenia), 𝐎𝐝𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 (Uganda), 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐝𝐚 (Italy) and 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐉𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐜́ (Slovenia), reimagine more inclusive realities and enact small but transformative shifts that are already shaping futures in motion.
