V 𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐣𝐞𝐤, 𝟐𝟎. 𝐚𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐚, 𝐨𝐛 𝟏𝟖.𝟑𝟎 𝐮𝐫𝐢 vas vljudno vabimo na predstavitev nove fotoknjige 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐦𝐚𝐧 z naslovom 𝑲𝒋𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒐𝒎𝒏𝒊, ki se bo prelila v odprtje istoimenske razstave.

Pogovor z umetnico bo vodila 𝐓𝐢𝐚 𝐂̌𝐢𝐜̌𝐞𝐤.

Sara Rman s projektom 𝐾𝑗𝑒𝑟 𝑝𝑜𝑚𝑛𝑖, ki je svoj izraz našel v seriji fotografij, objektov in knjigi umetnice, raziskuje izbrano mikrolokacijo in njene sestavne dele, gradnike in materiale. Pri tem ne ostaja le opazovalka, ki dokumentira obstoječe stanje, pač pa v polurbano krajino aktivno posega in se poigrava z njenimi materiali. Metamorfoza odvrženih, najdenih in zbranih materialov v umetniška dela odpira vprašanja o izvoru in spominu, ki nenehno spreminjata svoje pojavne oblike. Z združevanjem ready-made objektov in skrbno načrtovanih umetniških intervencij umetnica prehaja med naravnim, najdenim in naključnim ter namensko ustvarjenim, pri čemer nakazuje, da človek ustvarja prostor v enaki meri, kot prostor ustvarja njega.

On 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟐𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥, 𝐚𝐭 𝟔.𝟑𝟎 𝐩𝐦 you are cordially invited to join us at the presentation of the new photobook 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑰𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐑𝐦𝐚𝐧, followed by the opening of the exhibition of the same title.

The talk with the artist will be moderated by 𝐓𝐢𝐚 𝐂̌𝐢𝐜̌𝐞𝐤.

With her project 𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝐼𝑡 𝑅𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟𝑠, which has found expression in a series of photographs, objects and an artist’s book, Sara Rman explores a chosen micro-location, its constituents and building blocks. In doing so, she does not remain merely an observer documenting the existing state, but actively intervenes in the semi-urban landscape, engaging with its materials. The metamorphosis of discarded, found and collected materials into works of art raises questions about origin and memory, which constantly shift their forms of manifestation. By combining ready-made objects with meticulously planned artistic interventions, the artist moves between the natural, the found and the random on the one hand, and the purposefully created on the other, suggesting that humans create space just as much as space creates them.
