Vljudno vabljeni na otvoritev razstave Tik pred klikom Tomaža Furlana v galerijo SKC Korotan, Albertgasse 48 na Dunaju, v torek, 17. marca 2026 med 19.00 in 21.00 uro.

Razstava bo na ogled do 8. aprila 2026. Kustosinja razstave je Nina Skumavc.

Središče umetniške prakse Tomaža Furlana od samega začetka vključuje teme, ki govorijo o odnosu med človekom in (njegovim) okoljem ali natančneje, o posamezniku (delavcu) in njegovi vpetosti v različna razmerja ter sisteme. Preko umetniških del na eni strani reflektira družbeno dinamiko, civilizirano okolico in njene pripomočke, hkrati pa ga zanima tudi osebni pogled povprečnega posameznika in možne razsežnosti, popačenosti, ki se zgodijo znotraj individualne interpretacije. Razstava Tik pred klikom združuje dve starejši in najnovejši sklop del, kar kaže na spremembe, ki jih v zadnjih letih opažamo v avtorjevem načinu dela, estetiki in vsebinskih poudarkih. Kljub temu avtorjeva umetniška produkcija ohranja značilni pečat konceptualnega, participatornega in humornega.

You are cordially invited to attend the opening of the exhibition Right Before the Click by Tomaž Furlan on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, between 7pm and 9pm at the SKC Korotan, Albertgasse 48 in Vienna, Austria.

The exhibition will be on view till 8 April 2026. Curated by Nina Skumavc.

Tomaž Furlan’s artistic practice has, from its very start, explored topics that address the relations between humans and (their) environment, or, more specifically, the individual (worker) and their engagement with various relationships and systems. Through his artworks, Furlan reflects on social dynamics, the civilised environment and its tools, while also exploring the personal perspective of the average individual and the potential dimensions and distortions that can occur within personal interpretation. The exhibition Right Before the Click brings together two earlier works alongside the most recent series, demonstrating changes in the artist’s working methods, aesthetics, and thematic focus over the past few years. Furlan’s artistic production continues to be conceptual, participatory, and humorous.
