Plesalka Mélissa Guex v predstavi Spust (singel) s surovo močjo zavzema ulice, trge in druge javne prostore, kjer s svojo eksplozivnostjo in magnetno prezenco pritegne pozornost festivalskega občinstva in naključnih mimoidočih. Neustavljiva sila, ki se v plesu širi in usiha v dialogu z bobnarjem Clémentom Grinom, ponuja možnost, da se povzpnemo z njima ali skupaj presahnemo po kolektivni ekstazi.
Mélissa Guex se v svojih koreografijah in plesu giblje med gledališčem in nočnim življenjem, preizkuša potencial sprememb skozi kostumografijo, javne površine pa obravnava kot igrišče in kot poligon možnosti za razvoj svojega giba.
»Spust opisuje trenutke padca po ekstazi, val depresije, občutek sproščanja telesa in odklopa uma. Skozi te izmenjave preizprašujem ritem spusta, glasbo vzpona, telo, ki zamrzne ali sledi temu bobnanju čustev.« Mélissa Guex

In Down (single version), the dancer Mélissa Guex takes over the streets, squares and other public spaces with raw power, captivating the attention of festival audiences and casual passers-by alike with her explosive and magnetic presence. In dialogue with drummer Clément Grin, she is an irresistible force that expands and subsides in dance, offering the possibility to ascend or descend together after a collective ecstasy.
Through her choreography and dance, Mélissa Guex navigates the boundaries between theatre and nightlife, exploring the potential of change through costume design and treating public spaces as both a playground and a testing ground for the possibilities of developing her movement.
“Down describes the moments of descent after ecstasy, the wave of depression, the sensation of the body letting go and the mind becoming detached.
