V ponedeljek, 15. 6. 2026, te vabimo, da se nam ob 18.00 pridružiš na dvorišču Vetrinjskega dvora, kjer bomo začeli Interesni safari z umetnikom Amirjem Husakom.

Sprehod po mestu bo tokrat obravnaval migracije ljudi, favne in flore. Skozi zgodovino je omenjen fenomen del naravnih procesov preseljevanja ljudstev, živali in rastlin. Migracije sprožajo različni dejavniki, bodisi biološki, geografski ali družbeni. Sprehodili se bomo po trgih in ulicah, kjer bomo problematizirali omenjeno temo in iskali primere omenjene teme. Zagotovo se bomo ustavili pri pajesnu, ki s svojo vztrajnostjo premakne asfaltno podlago in poseže proti nebu. Poiskali ježkove poti in občudovali labodji pristanek na Lentu. Preko pogovorov o invazivnih rastlinah in selitvah ptic bomo odprli tudi temo zgodovinskih migracij, kot aktualnih dogodkov.

Pridi, prisluhni ali deli svojo zgodbo o dedku nemškemu gastarbajterju, babici izgnanki iz fašistične Primorske, sošolcu bosanskemu beguncu ali sosedu, ki je zapustil svoje mesto.

Interesni safari je oblika druženja, kombinacija predavanja in sprehoda po mestu na različnih lokacijah, kjer skupaj z gostujočimi umetniki_cami platforme SobaZaGosteMaribor in kuratorjem in umetnostnim zgodovinarjem Simonom Žlahtičem raziskujemo temo interesa rezidentk.

On Monday, June 15, 2026, we invite you to join us at 6:00 p.m. in the courtyard of Vetrinjski Dvor, where we will begin an Interest Safari with artist Amir Husak.

This time, our walk through the city will explore the migrations of people, fauna, and flora. Throughout history, this phenomenon has been part of the natural processes of migration of peoples, animals, and plants. Migrations are triggered by various factors, whether biological, geographical, or social. We will walk through the squares and streets, where we will explore this theme and look for examples of it. We will certainly stop at ailanthus tree, which, with its persistence, pushes through the asphalt and reaches toward the sky. We will look for hedgehog trails and admire the swans landing on Lent. Through conversations about invasive plants and bird migrations, we will also explore the topic of historical migrations as well as current events.

Come, listen, or share your story about your grandfather, a guest worker in Germany, your grandmother, an exile from fascist Primorska, a classmate, a Bosnian refugee, or a neighbor who left their hometown.

The Interest Safari is a form of social gathering, a combination of a lecture and a walk through the city at various locations, where, together with guest artists from the GuestRoomMaribor platform and curator and art historian Simon Žlahtič, we explore the residents’ chosen theme.
