Telo, ki prepleta kiparstvo in ples v dveh resonantnih duetih

Predstava v dveh delih se odvija kot dialog med nepremičnostjo in preobrazbo – od mehkobe kiparskih oblik Henrija ​Laurensa do intenzivnosti monumentalne prakse Ousmana Sowa. V EX-POSE(S) / Pozicije razkrivanja (2021) štirje plesalci prevajajo kiparsko prisotnost v živo gibanje – njihova telesa se oblikujejo in preoblikujejo v ravnotežja med močjo, ranljivostjo, uporom in sprostitvijo.

Plesalca in koreografa Héla Fattoumi in Éric Lamoureux sta od svojih začetkov v 90. letih razvijala osebni slog, ki podpisuje vse njune stvaritve. Njuna dela nosijo močan družbeni naboj, vplivi se vrstijo od Héline domovine Tunizije do številnih povezav z umetniki iz Magreba in podsaharske Afrike. Od leta 2015 vodita VIADANSE – Nacionalni koreografski center Bourgogne Franche-Comté v Belfortu, kjer razvijata čezmejni in mednarodni projekt sodelovanja, zlasti z globalnim Jugom.

A sensible exploration between sculpturing and dance through two resonating duets.

The performance in two parts unfolds as a dialogue between stillness and transformation – referring to the softness of Henri Laurens’ sculptural forms to the intensity of Ousmane Sow’s monumental practice. In EX-POSE(S) (2021), four dancers translate sculptural presence into living motion – their bodies are shaping and reshaping themselves between strength, vulnerability, resistance and release.

Héla Fattoumi and Éric Lamoureux, performers and choreographers, have developed a shared personal style since the 1990s, co-signing all their creations. Drawing on Héla Fattoumi’s Tunisian roots and connections with artists across the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa, their work often engages with social and cultural themes. Since 2015, they have directed VIADANSE – National Choreographic Center of Bourgogne Franche-Comté in Belfort, fostering cross-border and international collaborations, particularly with the global South.
