The KNUSP music platform was conceived by the curatorial team of Neue Musik St. Ruprecht from Vienna, which performs concerts of new music in the oldest church in Vienna, St. Ruprecht. Each time, the KNUSP Quartet performs the first performance of a new ensemble in Vienna, followed by a performance in the Spital Chapel (St. Elisabeth Chapel) in Celje. Once a year, the KNUSP curatorial team invites new musicians to join founders Gabriele Drab and Klaus Heidl and exchange musical ideas via an open call. The KNUSP meetings foster various forms of synergies: social networking, mutual commitment, networking and recognition among musicians. All this takes place in an environment where musicians meet in openness, attentiveness and mutual respect.
