Kaj zaslišimo, ko signal utihne in prostor začne govoriti?
Šesta edicija festivala korenite zvočne hoje TO)pot povezuje umetnike, teoretike in sprehajalce v skupnem poslušanju prostorov, glasov in tišin.
Zvočna, gibalna in koreografska dela nato znane mestne lokacije začasno preoblikujejo v prostore pozornosti, telesne zaznave in drugačnega srečevanja.
TO)pot je prostor umetnosti, skupnostnega mišljenja in poslušanja.

TO)POT FESTIVAL: WALKING-WITH SILENCES
23–27 September 2026
Cukrarna and public spaces across Ljubljana
What do we hear when the signal disappears and space begins to speak?
The sixth edition of TO)pot, the festival of radical sound walking, brings together artists, theorists and walkers through shared acts of listening to spaces, voices and silences. Its subtitle, Walking-with Silences, approaches walking as a mode of listening: a practice that deepens our awareness of the silence of a place, society’s silences, the body and art.
Across five days, the programme presents selected soundwalks, a sound exhibition, a lecture series and two concert evenings featuring four solo performances. The festival unfolds from Cukrarna into Ljubljana’s abandoned underpasses, the Rog building, Plečnik Stadium, an urban forest, the Mother’s Bridge and other public spaces.
The festival opens with no signal, a performative lecture by acclaimed artist and theorist Salomé Voegelin, exploring the absence of signal as the beginning of listening. Sound based, choreographic and movement practices then temporarily transform familiar locations into spaces of attention, embodied perception and unexpected encounters.
TO)pot is a meeting place for art, collective thought and attentive listening. Rather than offering definitive answers, it creates situations in which space can address us differently. The experience may not always be comfortable, but it can transform how we hear the city, others and ourselves.
Some events require advance booking and/or the purchase of a ticket. Others are free and can be attended without a reservation.
