Spremljevalni dogodek: delavnica keramike v sredo, 3. junij 2026, ob 16. uri.

Razstava Migracije je zasnovana kot razmislek o preseljevanju narodov, ljudi ter ลพive in neลพive narave skozi celotno zgodovino ฤloveลกtva. Tudi v brezฤasju vsemirja so migracije bile, so in bodo. Nakljuฤno razporejeni keramiฤni objekti spominjajo na asteroide. Vsi v vesolju smo sestavljeni iz enakega materiala. Na teh keramiฤnih gmotah so vidne sledi razliฤnih kamenin. Posute so s porcelanastimi delci kot z neko snovno materijo, hkrati pa ti peterokraki porcelanasti delci spominjajo na ลพiva bitja, ki vzbujajo slutnjo obstoja neฤesa ลพivega.

Accompanying event: ceramics workshop on Thursday, 11 June 2026, 4 pm.

Migration is an exhibition conceived as a reflection on the movement of nations, people, and animate and inanimate nature throughout human history. Even in the timelessness of the universe, migration has always occurred and will continue to occur. The randomly arranged ceramic objects suggest asteroids. Everything in the universe is made of the same material. These ceramic lumps bear traces of various types of stoneware, strewn with porcelain particles as if with some material substance. Yet these five-pointed porcelain particles resemble living beings, evoking a sense of the existence of some form of life.

๐ƒ๐š๐ง๐ข ๐™ฬŒ๐›๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ซ works at the intersection of architecture and ceramics. In 1982, she graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, where, under the supervision of Prof. Niko Kralj and in collaboration with the Jugokeramika factory in Zapreลกiฤ‡, she developed the project โ€œCeramic Tableware System for the Hospitality Industry.โ€ Before completing her studies, she pursued further training at the University of Mississippi (USA) in 1979, deepening her knowledge of ceramicsโ€”a medium that remains the central vehicle of her creative expression. Since the early 1980s, she has been based in Ljubljana, engaging in ceramic art and teaching. She has showcased her work at numerous group exhibitions both in Slovenia and internationally. She is a member of the G12 group and several professional and artistic associations, including the Association of Ceramists and Potters of Slovenia, the Union of Slovenian Architectsโ€™ Societies, the Slovenian Association of Fine Arts Societies (ZDSLU), the Croatian Association of Artist of Applied Arts (ULUPUH), the Glineraj Association, and the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC).

The exhibition is part of the 6th UNICUM 2026 International Ceramics Triennial.
