Celica špila 2026: The Hahas and the Blablas (HR) + Morvern (SLO)

Celica špila, pleše, miga, gruva in muva – že peto leto zapored! Ob petem rojstnem dnevu bomo v juliju in avgustu 2026 pripravili nepozabno glasbeno praznovanje z vrhunskim naborom domačih in tujih bendov!🥳

Za veliki finale letošnjega poletja bo poskrbela zagrebška zasedba The Hahas and the Blablas 🤟 ter domače alter sile Morvern.🫶

🤟The Hahas and the Blablas je zagrebška skupina, ki igra new wave, disco garage, synth punk. Njene pesmi bi lahko opisali kot plesne in poletne, z nekoliko več dura kot mola, z nalezljivimi ritmi, s filozofsko humornimi besedili ter z razmišljanji o smislu življenja. Če ste ljubitelji izvajalcev, kot so B-52’s, DEVO ali Blondie, vam bo zasedba The Hahas and the Blablas zagotovo všeč.

Protagonisti besedil so med drugim Andy Kaufman, Debbie Harry, David Icke, Daniel, ki so mu ustvarjalci ukradli pesem, družina podgan, ki jim oddajajo stanovanje, prijatelj, ki je naprodaj itd. Glavna rdeča nit besedil je obravnava tudi resnejših tem na šaljiv način.
Skupina deluje od leta 2022, po več spremembah zasedbe pa so se člani leta 2026 odločili delovati kot duet ob spremljavi ritem in synth mašine. Doslej so izdali en album pri založbah na Hrvaškem, v Franciji, Avstraliji in Združenih državah Amerike. Pri snemanju šestih videospotov za svoje pesmi so sodelovali z umetniki iz Hrvaške in tujine.

🫶Kar se je v Trbovljah začelo kot »kantavtorska skrinja lo-fi idej« Jana Cizeja, je hitro našlo svoje mesto pod soncem na ljubljanski indie sceni. Z glasbo, ki se je zagnano izdajala prek DIY založbe ŠOP Records, je Morvern okoli leta 2018 začel rasti v polnopravno, turnejam doraslo skupino.
Danes zasedbo sestavljajo Jay na basu, Miha na bobnih in Jan, še vedno v trojni vlogi pevca, kitarista in avtorja. Čeprav ostaja nekakšen neformalni vodja skupine, se je njegova prejšnja identiteta morverna kot posameznika razblinila – zdaj morvern pomeni skupino sorodno mislečih, a unikatnih posameznikov.

Morvernov zvok je postopoma prešel iz pomirjujočega, halucinatornega »bedroom popa« v hrupen, razmazan in napadalen garažni rock, da bi mogočna trojka lahko zadovoljila potrebe divjih množic, s katerimi se je srečevala na turnejah.

Celica rocks, dances, moves, and grooves at the hottest concert events in town – for the fifth year in a row! For our fifth birthday, we’ll be hosting an unforgettable concert party in July and August 2026, featuring a top lineup of local and international bands!🥳

We will spend the last Thursday of this season in the great company of The Hahas and the Blablas from Croatia and local indie-alternative legends Morvern.🫶

🤟The Hahas and the Blablas are a Zagreb-based band playing new wave / disco garage / synth punk. Their songs can be described as danceable and upbeat, leaning more toward major than minor keys, with infectious mid-to-fast tempos, philosophically humorous lyrics, and reflections on the meaning of life. If you’re a fan of artists like B-52’s, DEVO, or Blondie, you will definitely enjoy The Hahas and the Blablas.

The protagonists of their lyrics include, among others, Andy Kaufman, Debbie Harry, David Icke, Daniel whose song was stolen, a family of rats they rent an apartment to, a friend who is for sale, etc. The main thread is presenting sometimes serious topics in a humorous way.

The band has been active since 2022, and after several lineup changes, in 2026 they decided to continue as a duo accompanied by rhythm and synth machines. So far, they have released one album with labels in Croatia, France, Australia, and the United States. They have also recorded six music videos for their songs, collaborating with artists from Croatia and abroad.

🫶What started in Trbovlje as singer-songwriter Jan Cizej’s treasure chest of lo-fi ideas, quickly found its place under the sun in Ljubljana’s indie scene. Releasing the music prolifically through the diy label ŠOP Records, Morvern found itself scaling up in size and shifting into a fully-fledged, touring workhorse of a band around 2018. As of now, the band consists of Jay on bass, Miha on drums, and Cizej continuing his triple role of singer-guitarist-writer. And while he might still be the band’s de-facto leader, his previous persona of Morvern as singular person has now been dissolved to mean Morvern as a group of like-minded, but unique individuals. As a powerful three-piece, Morvern’s sound gradually shifted away from calming hallucinatory bedroom pop to fuzzy, loud assault of garage rock in order to satisfy the needs of the wild crowds they’ve encountered during touring, playing gigs all around their homeland of Slovenia as well as across the Balkans, crossing even the border of Bulgaria.
